The 2013 Eleanor Cole Sportsmanship Award was announced at the OPWTC Annual Awards Luncheon and Membership Meeting on December 9, 2013.  Sheilagh received the award from her good friend and last year’s recipient Denise Iwata.

Sheilagh is not only a very involved member of the OPWTC, but she also helps with the Stockton Tennis Club events.  When Jim Courier commented, “Sportsmanship for me is when a [lady] walks off the court and you really can’t tell whether [she] won or lost, when [she] carries [herself] with pride either way.” --he could very well have been thinking of Sheilagh, a true sportsman in every way!
