Tournament Information
Tournaments are open to all women over the age of 18. The April Members Only Doubles tournament is the only time an OPWTC membership is required to play.
Cost per tournament is $3 for members and $8 for non members. Lunch is usually included in the price. Occasionally, we hold a potluck and ask participants to bring a dish to share.
Any women may join OPWTC at anytime or at any event. Membership is required for some tournaments(see above) and for participation in the Central Valley Tennis League (CVTL). Check out the CVTL page for more information. The annual membership price for the OPWTC is $20 per calendar year. Membership is valid from January through December of any calendar year.
A schedule of tournaments for the year is mailed to all OPWTC members at the beginning of February. The tournament schedule will be posted on this website at the beginning of February.
Sign ups are required by the Tuesday before the tournament to ensure their are enough courts secured and so partnerships can be established. Some exceptions may apply, and entering tournament may be possible on the day of the event. Contact the tournament director for any questions. Check in time for tournaments is 8:30-8:45 and start time is promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Our goal is for women to have a great time together, so please be aware of your behavior on the court and with other players. Your promptness in arriving is greatly appreciated!
